Reach College:
Reaching IIT Kanpur is fairly easy and hassle-free. The main modes of travel are cabs and auto rickshaws which are fairly cheap and frequent. From Kanpur Central Railway Station to IITK Campus: - Prepaid Taxis and autos are easily available. It is preferred to exit through PF no. 9 of the Railway Station as the auto stand is adjacent to it. - Rates: Rs. 350 for a taxi(for convenience it’s better to book ola cab) and Rs. 250 for an auto. - Scheduled buses are regularly operated by IITK bus service, which is available outside Platform no.1 and the timing of IITK buses is as follows: Bus Schedule From Kanpur Interstate Bus Stand(Jhakarkati) to IITK Campus: - You can board a bus from here that drops you off just at the main gate of IIT Kanpur, from there It’s 1km drive until you reach the centre of the campus - You can also avail autos from here and the rates are Rs. 200 (appx.) - Shared autos can also be availed at a cheaper cost which may include break journey so please confirm the dropping point(IIT Kanpur gate) beforehand For more information visit the link https://techkriti.org/hospitality For any query, write to us at contact_us@techkriti.org.in.

The accommodation of all the participants will be taken care of by team Techkriti (all the participants are required to pay an amount of Rs. 2000 for the accommodation).

About Fest:

Techkriti is Asia's largest annual international technical, entrepreneurial and business festival of Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. The 24th edition will be held from 15th-18th March'18. Our efforts, work, and thoughts, all are synced to one simple thing only – help our society as much as we can. To ensure our goal, we have set up an international platform for the people to innovate and compete. Every day in the festival introduces a new beginning, all psyched up to disperse into the horizon of infinite possibilities.Techkriti is the annual inter-collegiate Technical and Entrepreneurship festival organised by the students of IIT Kanpur. Techkriti was launched in 1995 with the aim of developing interest and encouraging innovation in technology among students of India. Techkriti hosts a plethora of Competitions, Exhibitions, Lectures and Shows. In its twenty-second edition, Techkriti has evolved and grown, fulfilling its purpose and becoming one of the most eagerly-awaited college technical festivals in Asia. Now, schools are also a part of this extravaganza with the introduction of a new event called "TOSC" (Techkriti Open School Championship).
